Best procedure to turn Silhouette Store STUDIO files into a lowpoly sculpture

I wrote this post because I found out the simplest way to cut and assembly any Mesh&Craft lowpoly sculpture with your Silhouette plotting machine.

Once downloaded your studio file from Silhouette Store, open it with Silhouette Studio, you will have something like the figure. All parts grouped among them and grouped by page:

Select the entire group and set the line thickness to 0,5pt or 1pt

You are free to choose the value!

Now ungroup all the parts. The result will be that you have parts grouped by page.

Move only one page on the Cutting mat area

and set the cutting mat size to 12x12 inc

Select the group of the first page and UNGROUP all the parts

Select ONLY solid lines (solid lines are the contour of each part). By pressing SHIFT you can make multiple selections. Once you complete the selection process, change the color of the selected lines ( I changed to blue).

Now select all the parts and GROUP them again:

Add the REGISTRATION MARKS.

Now, if you go in the SEND section, you will find something like this:

As you can see you don't have the blue lines. While blue lines are the only to cut. In order to see the blue lines you have to WAIT a couple of minutes.

Final result for your patience will be:

Now send to printer the page, place the printed page on the cutting mat and then start the cutting process on your Silhouette.

Following pages procedure

Move the next page on the cutting mat area in the Silhouette Studio software

Ungroup all parts

Select solid lines and change their color using the same color you used previously

Group parts again

Click SEND section, now the coloured lines will be now visible and available to be selected

Send to printer, print the page, place the page on the cutting mat and then cut everything.

Repeat the "following pages procedure" for the remaining pages.

Then to assemble the model follow the instructions in the detailed post:
